Welcome Sydney Sherman to Massa Butler Giglione & Dirlam

We are proud to welcome Sydney Sherman as our newest Law Clerk at Massa Butler Giglione & Dirlam. Sydney graduated cum laude with a Bachelor’s in Economics and Political Science from Duquesne University, along with a Certificate in Pre-Law.  Now as a third-year law student at Duquesne University School of Law, she competes on the trial team and holds a senior editorial position on the Duquesne Law Review.

Sydney is studying under her Adjunct Professor and Firm partner, Peter Giglione, developing the courtroom empathy, clarity, and accuracy that define our firm’s approach to advocacy. Peter notes, “Sydney is one of the best students I have ever had the benefit of teaching, and I know she will quickly become an asset to our firm.”

Sydney had Clerked the past two summers at a civil defense firm where she conducted in-depth legal research and drafted motions, briefs, and other responsive pleadings. She will experience a great deal of the same at The Massa Law Group this year writing for the plaintiff.

“We are thrilled to have Sydney join our close-knit team. Her fresh perspective and passion for the law will fit right in with our dedicated colleagues at the firm. Welcome, Sydney. We look forward to working together and supporting you every step of the way” Rudy Massa
