In this tragic medical malpractice case, doctors misread a pathology report, believing it was a common infection. It was cancer.

For years, doctors were examining and obtaining x-rays and imaging for knee pain.  The doctors had misread the x-rays and imaging.  It was cancer. 

Complaints of face pain and numbness for months were ignored. Despite clear evidence of a tumor, doctors misread the imaging. Sadly, by the time the cancer had been discovered, this patient was required to undergo a critical facial surgery to remove the progressing cancer resulting in a facial deformity.

This patient was permanently injured when surgeons failed to perform emergency surgery, which would have saved her vital organs. 

Surgeons failed to provide appropriate post-operative care causing irreversible nerve damage. By the time the appropriate care was provided, the patient was unable to walk, speak clearly, or care for herself.

This patient’s heart condition required careful prescription of medication. The doctor carelessly reduced the dose of medication, which caused a debilitating stroke.

This patient survived a life-saving operation. Sadly his care providers failed to provide critical medications during the post-op period.

This patient was not told about a cancerous finding reported on x-rays. The cancer went untreated and grew for 13 months because his team of doctors failed to communicate and follow up on the results. By then the cancer had spread.

A suspicious mass was seen and reported on this patient’s x-ray. He was not told the finding ultimately was determined to be cancer and was only discovered after the cancer had spread to his heart.

When suffering from a stroke, every minute counts—time lost, is brain lost. Doctors wasted valuable time in a hospital emergency room with this stroke patient. Despite a stroke medication that was readily available and could have been timely given, this debilitating stroke went untreated.
