Megan E. Dirlam


Attorney Megan E. Dirlam is a 2016 graduate of Duquesne University School of Law. She joined Massa Butler Giglione as a law clerk in 2015 and was hired as an Associate upon passing the Pennsylvania bar examination in 2016. Megan has spent the entirety of her career practicing at Massa Butler Giglione, focusing her career on helping those injured by medical malpractice and nursing home neglect.

During law school, Megan was a member of Duquesne’s Trial Advocacy Program, and competed at several national trial moot court competitions. She received multiple awards for her exceptional trial advocacy skills, including the Katie Elisabeth Westbrook and Aaron J. Deluca Advocacy Awards, and was ultimately inducted into the Order of Barristers and Louis E. Manderino Honor Society. During her third year of law school, Megan was certified as a student attorney to assist with the representation of indigent people through Duquesne’s Civil Rights Clinic.

In 2022, Megan was inducted into the prestigious Academy of Trial Lawyers of Allegheny County, an invitation-only group limited to 200 active members. She is a member in good standing of the Pennsylvania Bar Association, West Virginia Bar Association, American Bar Association, and the Allegheny County Bar Association.

Megan is on the board of directors for Face 2 Face Healing, a local non-profit focused on offering life-enhancing experiences for cancer patients and/or people with conditions causing disfigurement, their caregivers and their healthcare professionals, by providing effective individual counseling, case management, advocacy and education in the region.​

Megan was just recently featured in an article on The Pittsburgh Business Times for her achievement in becoming partner at Massa Butler Giglione.
