Megan E. Dirlam
Bio
Attorney Megan E. Dirlam is a graduate of Duquesne University School of Law. She joined Massa Butler Giglione & Dirlam as a law clerk in 2015 and was hired as an Associate upon passing the Pennsylvania bar examination in 2016. Megan has spent the entirety of her career practicing at Massa Butler Giglione & Dirlam, focusing her career on helping those injured by medical malpractice and nursing home neglect. Megan is now a partner at the firm.
During law school, Megan was a member of Duquesne’s Trial Advocacy Program, and competed at several national trial moot court competitions. She received multiple awards for her exceptional trial advocacy skills, including the Katie Elisabeth Westbrook and Aaron J. Deluca Advocacy Awards, and was ultimately inducted into the Order of Barristers and Louis E. Manderino Honor Society. During her third year of law school, Megan was certified as a student attorney to assist with the representation of indigent people through Duquesne’s Civil Rights Clinic.
In 2022, Megan was inducted into the prestigious Academy of Trial Lawyers of Allegheny County, an invitation-only group limited to 200 active members. In 2023, Megan was name one of the Top 40 under 40 Civil Trial Attorneys in Pennsylvania by The National Trial Lawyers. She is a member in good standing of the Pennsylvania Bar Association, West Virginia Bar Association, American Bar Association, and the Allegheny County Bar Association.
