Gary A. Butler

Bio

Attorney Gary A. Butler represents victims of serious personal injuries and the wrongful death of their family members. Attorney Butler received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Mass Communications and Criminal Justice from Kings College with Magna Cum Laude honors. He received his Juris Doctorate degree from The Duquesne University School of Law.

In his 25 years of practice, Mr. Butler has gained extensive national experience in both federal and state courts in areas of law such as commercial and intellectual property litigation, product liability litigation, accounting, medical and legal malpractice litigation, as well as white collar criminal defense. Mr. Butler previously worked for two large national law firms and was involved in both the criminal and civil defenses of a multimillionaire from a prominent family accused of murder in a high-profile case that garnered national attention.

Mr. Butler is licensed to practice law in Pennsylvania. He is a member of the American Association for Justice, the American Bar Association, the Pennsylvania Bar Association and the Allegheny County Bar Association. In 2006, he presented, “Malpractice Litigation Concerning Pressure Ulcers” at the Wound Ostomy & Continence Nurses Society’s conference.

In addition to practicing law, Mr. Butler is actively involved with Toastmasters International, the Leukemia Research Foundation, the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation, DATA (Debt Aids and Trade for Africa) and the ONE Campaign.
